Sketchbook Week

It's been a long time since I posted any art to the web at all, of my own. I have not been stagnant. I've been working my butt off on my art licensing collections but I really, REALLY miss sharing my artwork with the on-line creative community. It's tough after sharing so much to go from that to basically nothing.
Anyway -- Ta-Da! Today I am sharing just a tiny bit. Here is a show-and-tell of a sketch-to-final work. I hope you like it.

Oh wow, this is so adorable! I love the funky glasses. Thanks for sharing both the sketch and your lovely art ;)

I know that in licensing your art is hush-hush since the competition is cuh-razy, so it's nice to see these two. I'm really drawn (har har) to the waiter on the right. ;)

Thanks everyone! It is so nice to get so e feedback on my art from bloggy friends!

Diandra, i am glad you like the little fellow! LOL. Yes, it is tough to keep a lid on my art. Then, not posting due to art locensing concerns has in turn led me to just being way pickier about what I post period that is unpublished, whether licensing work or not... oh, it is a tangled web...

Your style is one of the most defined styles I've seen out there Kath. It's like listening to Sting sing, you just know it's him.. LOL

I love these kitties with those glasses!! You have to try and licensee them to a line of cool chic glasses boutique. How cute that would be! I would buy a pair just for the cute label and box they would come in. ;o)
