Day is Done

This beautiful book is illustrated by one of my favorite children's book artists, Melissa Sweet.

The book is based on a timeless song, written by Peter Yarrow, of the legend folk singing group Peter, Paul & Mary. It is a meditation on the earth, the environment, and the kinship of all living creatures. Melissa's tender animal characters and rich watercolors bring the song to life.
