What I love 'All Year Round'

Tea has always been a part of my life - a warming, comforting thing, and as an adult, a ritual. It starts my days, it gives me pause when I need to slow down and think, it warms my hands when they're not drawing. Sometimes I'll switch to iced tea in summer, but usually it's hot tea year round - and since I've been pregnant, it's decaf only. I think I'll go put the kettle on now...

Aw you describe it so wonderful... now I have a craving for a cup for myself. :o)

Your are right, tea is very comforting... I love coffee as well but I feel coffee is almost necessary for me to wake me up in the mornings. I, however, take tea when I really want to unwind. I specially love it if it's raining.

I love your little black dot mug :o)

Thanks Alicia. My little black dot mug is part of our dishware set, buffalo china - very durable, heavy, usually used in diners. For some reason one little white mug has a black dot baked into the cream/white glaze - at first it was just a funny coincidence that every time i reached for a mug, it was this one i grabbed. now it's just my preferred mug and i usually turn it in the cabinet so the dot is facing out. it's my misfit mug. :)

We're birds of a feather, Gina. I'm a big tea drinker too. My mum is English so I guess that says it all. =O)
I am afraid I have become quite an avid tea cup and mug collector because of it!
