Postcard Mailer - Back to School

The ol' school bus again, either we all have very fond memories of the bus or it was a source of daily torture.

I wanted to tell a story about a girl who was a little too much trouble and boy who wasn't looking to make waves. Maybe the frog ends up in his backpack. Maybe it escapes said backpack during class. Maybe wave-avoiding boy ends up in the principle's office. Who knows how we get talked into these kinds of adventures!
Can you tell my kids go to public school? I had to go with school uniforms in honor of all the poor babes who sport the khaki and blue five days a week!

This is a wonderful Illustration Heather!
The kids' expressions are just right and the color scheme is so lovely. I really love it :o)

Great to see your work transform from sketch to block print. Nice work.
You didn't plan it but there is the shape of a question mark on the boys backpack above his hand which goes along sublimally with his expression. Neat!
