Okay, I have a few (sheepish grin)... but for this post, I've picked one of my favorites... school desks. The desk in the upper left hand corner of the picture here started it all. When I was a little kid, my mom brought home about six of these from our Parish rummage sale. I have so many fun memories of playing with those desks! We placed them in two rows and played school, reconfigured them into planes, trains, buses, and traffic jams. They also made great audience seating for magic shows. Rarely, we even used them as a desk and did homework on them. So, over the years, I've collected a few more, I find them irresistible! When my son was little, I was delighted to find the desks sparked his imagination too. He built elaborate tents and dinosaur caves. We love school desks!
