What's cooking?

Lately, I have been been totally absorbed with learning how to create my style digitally and I'm pleased to say that all the hard work is paying off. I am currently working with an educational publisher who likes the new look and wants me to use it for one of their projects. I'll be creating a minibook with accompanying activity pages ,icon images about bees and flowers. Fun!
This will keep me busy until June.

Over the weekend I was teaching myself how to create frayed fabrics. One thing led to another and the above image is the end result. I LOVE working digitally. I am learning something new each day and it's so inspiring.

Congrat's on the new assignment and "found" style. It reminds me of stitched felt... makes me want to reach out and touch it. Nice work.

Thanks, Lisa, that was the goal so I'm happy it came across!

Wow Roz, that is amazing! What brush/tool do you use to make all the stitching?? The frayed fabric is a great touch. Really hard to tell it's digital!

Very nice Roz! You are doing a great job making these look "sewn".

I think the trick to making frayed edges is to create PNG files. That is what I used to do when I made and marketed my digital scrapbooking kits.

Have fun!
