Collections

A newish collection for me are board books published by Campbell Books, a UK publishing House.
I have fallen in love with the books they produce and hope to work with them some day.







I particularly enjoy the series of "Poppy Cat" books by author/illustrator , Lara Jones.



I would love to come up with a character with its own "series" of books. Lara has done this quite successfully! The poppy cat series was the result of a promotional postcard mailing. The publisher was so engaged by the character that they asked her to develop stories to go with it. Now if that isn't inspiring, I don't know what is!
