Illustrator: Olivier Tallec

Can I live in an Olivier Tallec book? Pretty please? Big Wolf Little Wolf is the type of book to make you cheer and sniffle and want more. And luckily, there are two follow-up books.Sometimes I fall in love with an illustrator's work for little technicalities, character design, color palettes, etc. Sometimes (the best times) I just fall in love with the worlds they create.

Go find some Olivier Tallec books and get lost. Be surprised by the way he uses color, line, gesture, white space, character design... sigh.

Here is his portfolio. Here is a publisher of many of his books.

Sigh is right Gina! I want to live in his books too!!!! :) sometimes illustrators get so caught up in technique and the graphics in a book that the expression and feeling of the characters is lost. Not with him. He nails it every time. I just had to order a couple of books. :)
