To help me get over my umpteenth sketching-block, I picked up some colored markers. I find that sketching in ink forces me to just be really silly and loose. Adding the colors really made things fun again. Sometimes I just take myself too seriously. Then I draw siamese acorns and everything is better.

Sketchbook Week: One page at a time
To help me get over my umpteenth sketching-block, I picked up some colored markers. I find that sketching in ink forces me to just be really silly and loose. Adding the colors really made things fun again. Sometimes I just take myself too seriously. Then I draw siamese acorns and everything is better.
Oh my goodness this is so cool Gina. It's like a taking a little peek at that super creative brain of yours.
ReplyDeleteI love all of them. The kitty, acorns, kangaroos, giraffe, all of them! I think my favorite is the robot. He makes me laugh! :o)
Or maybe he is an alien?! Either way, too cute and deserves his own book. Just a thought....
