Celebrating Liz Conrad

This month, the book I am highlighting on the sidebar is by the ever so talented Liz Conrad. I have been following her energetic and fun cut paper work for years. Her characters are so joyful and just make me smile.

I was devastated this summer when Liz was taken by the ravages of Cancer. Right before her passing, she acquired a literary agent and was in the process of bringing her own stories to life. I can only imagine the wonderful books kids would have enjoyed for years to come.

I'm thankful that her family have kept her website and blog up and I know you'll love her work as much as I do. Fellow illustrator, Elizabeth Dulemba wrote a moving dedication to Liz here.

Liz, we celebrate you.

Be sure to look for Liz Conrad's books. They are simply delightful.
