Friends Forever

This is from an educational book I finished this year that will be out in the Fall. These two girls were so fun to paint and show together, over time, facing challenges. I remember being this age and how important my friends were to me, and not surprisingly, how important they are to me still.

Beautiful Gina! This is a wonderful example of friendship. Such a lovely illustration. I really love your colors too.. earthy, harmonious and beautiful muted pallet.

Oh yes I remember too how strong the bond was with friends at that age. We really need friends in our lives, always. :o)

This looks terrific Gina! The colors are very well done; it's clear that you've really thought through the color relationships and how they will affect and balance each other out. I love the effect of the freckles too.

This came out great, Gina. I too really like your muted color palette. It looks like it was a fun project for you. I want the "tennies" the girl on the left if wearing. =o)

Thanks ladies. Yes, Roz, I too found myself dreaming of adult-sized sneakers like hers too!
