Weekly Theme: "Things that Haunt Me"
Anymore, not too many things haunt me. When I first began illustrating, I worried about things that seem sort of trivial now.
Did I allow for enough bleed?!
Do I convert to CMYK?!
How do I FTP files?!
How do I mail this thing?!!
My deadline is when?!!!
I really used to panic over these kinds of questions. But, as you gain more experience and have lots of art buddies, resources, and art directors to help you through, those scary questions get easier to answer. No one expects you to know everything!
Now, in my non-illustrating life, snakes freak me out. I'm still working on that one.

This is so nice Laura. It made me feel better to read it. I still have some of those fears.... and the snake's one thats a tough one ;o)
What a beautiful illustration! Love those eyes and expressions on the kids. The shading and lighting is just lovely!
