Weekly Theme: "Before & After"

I did this illustration last year, that I call “Merbaby”. I was recently contacted by someone who wanted to buy a print to use for their best friend's baby shower. I thought it was a sweet idea, and ended up designing their invitations for them. She sent me photos yesterday of the shin-dig and I can’t explain what it’s like to see your illustration recreated on a cake! It looks great and they said it was delicious. I’ve arrived!
